It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Morton Dodek z’l, predeceased by his wife, Irene Dodek z’l, father of Schara Tzedeck member, Gail Dodek Wenner (Richard) and brother of Schara Tzedeck member, Arthur Dodek (Judy).

Our heartfelt condolences to his children, Peter Dodek (Hella), Gail Dodek Wenner (Richard), and Carla Dodek (Javier), and to his grandchildren, Aaron (Julia), Joshua (Camille), Elana, Eliane, Ori, Joel, and Evan, and his great-grandchildren, Briyah, Jacob, Elijah, Levi, Zali, Noah, Leila and Ari. To his brother, Arthur Dodek (Judy), and brother-in-law, Charles Flader and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, June 5th, 2024, at 12:00 pm at the Beth Israel Cemetery (1721 Willingdon Avenue, Burnaby).

Shiva minyans will be held Wednesday, June 5th, Thursday, June 6th, Sunday, June 9th, and Monday, June 10th, at 7:30 pm at the family home in Vancouver.
