It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the death of Michael Livni (Max Langer) z”l, uncle of Temple Sholom member Ron Laufer, on Monday, June 3, 2024 in Israel.

We send our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Brenda Herzberg, children, Dvir (Sara), Nimi (Andrea), and Sivan, grandchildren, Jordi, Gefen, Rafael, Ruth, Hadas, and Noor, sister, Lucy Laufer (Langer), nephews, Danny (Monica) and Ron (Tamar), and his great-nephews and nieces, Jacob, Ari, Jonas, Sacha and Amira.

The funeral was on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Kibbutz Lotan with shiva to follow.

In Vancouver, Shiva will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 6:30 pm PT at the home of Lucy Laufer in Vancouver.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Camp Miriam or the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel.
