It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the death of Temple Sholom member Irwin “Bud” Riback z”l, on Tuesday December 10, 2024.

 

Bud was predeceased by his daughter Harlene z”l.

 

We send our heartfelt condolences to his wife Fay Riback, his children Barry Riback (Marla), and Howard Riback (Donna); grandchildren Trevor Riback (Alex Law), Kevin Riback (Raquel), Anya Anglin (Chris), Luna Riback and Brian Riback; his great-grandchildren Liam, Avery, Emmett, Leni, Ru, Frances and Ashton; and to his extended family and friends.

 

The funeral will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 9:30 am at Temple Sholom (7190 Oak Street, Vancouver, BC), followed by an internment at the Temple Sholom Cemetery (14965 – 28th Ave., White Rock/South Surrey, BC).

 

A reception will be held following the internment at Temple Sholom at 12:30 pm.

 

Shiva will be held on Thursday December 12th at 6:30 pm in Vancouver, and at 4:30 pm at Temple Sholom on Saturday December 14th and Sunday December 15th.

 

The family suggests that donations be made to Temple Sholom’s Harlene Riback Israel/Camp Scholarship Fund or Bud Riback Memorial Fund to the Temple Sholom Cemetery and Capital Campaign.
