Sad News – Gene Phillips z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Gene Phillips z”l, mother of Beth Israel member Stephanie Phillips.

Gene was the wife of the late Bert (z”l), mother of Stephanie Phillips (Brad Gross) and Beth Phillips (Chris Lonigan), grandmother of Benjamin Gross, sister of Merle Berger (Bonnie) and sister-in-law of Alan Phillips (Marsha). We send our sincere condolences to her entire family and friends.

The funeral was held on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 11:00 am PT at Berkowitz Kumin Bookatz Memorial Chapel in Cleveland, Ohio and will be livestreamed for those out of town.

Shiva will be held at the Phillips residence in Lyndhurst, Ohio.
