It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Frances Switzer z”l, mother of Schara Tzedeck member Allan Switzer and wife of William Switzer z”l.  

 

Our heartfelt condolences to her children Renee Switzer, Allan Switzer (Sandra), grandchildren Rabbi Matthew Bellas z’l (Oksana), Adam Bellas (Britt), Jennifer Wilds, Gabriella Switzer (Liza), Julia Switzer (Ryan), Joshua Switzer, and great grandchildren Yaakov Bellas (Rivka), Maya Bellas, Aliza Bellas, Jack Baxter-Bellas, and Daisy Baxter-Bellas.

 

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 1:00pm at the Beth Israel Cemetery (1721 Willingdon Avenue, Burnaby).

 

Shiva will be held on Wednesday (Dec. 31) and Thursday (January 1) at 6:00 pm and on Friday (January 2) at 8:00 am at Beth Israel Synagogue

(989 West 28 Avenue, Vancouver).
