It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Schara Tzedeck member Esther Brandt z”l.

 

Esther z”l was predeceased by her husband Larry Brandt z”l and son Ron Brandt z”l. We send our heartfelt condolences to her children Shery (Gerry) Wittenberg and Rochelle Brown (Grant Chitty), to her grandchildren Leah Wittenberg (Joel Rothman), Dana Wittenberg (Eric Bukovinsky), Sarah (Sean) Clifford, Samantha Brown, Aron (Ashley) Brown and to her great-grandchildren Eva, Adam, Jonah, Cole, Reed, Tate, Benjamin, Michael, Lauren, and Lana.

 

We send our condolences to her siblings, Bernard Rozen, Mariette Doduck, Jack Rozen, her many nieces and nephews, and the entire family.

 

The funeral will take place Wednesday, January 8th at 1:30 pm at the Schara Tzedeck Cemetery in New Westminster, BC. 2345 Marine Dr, New Westminster, BC V3M 2V1

 

Shiva visitation will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 pm in Vancouver, BC

 

Donations can be made in her memory to the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre.
