Sad News – Emerich (Emery) Klein z’l
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Emerich (Emery) Klein z’l, father of King David Head of School, Russ Klein.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his children Russ Klein (Deborah Youngson),and Judy Valsonis (Ken Valsonis), grandchildren Josie and Alex, and their mother, Diana Klein.
The funeral will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Beth Israel Cemetery. The address is 1721 Willingdon Ave, Burnaby, BC V5C 5J2
Shiva Minyan will be held on Monday, September 11, and Tuesday, September 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Deborah and Russ in Vancouver.
Weather permitting, shiva will be held outside.
The family requests that in lieu of bringing any food to the Shiva house donations be made to the JFS Food Hub.
