Sad News – Dr. Lionel Tenby z’l

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Schara Tzedeck member Dr. Lionel Tenby z”l on December 22, 2022.

We send our heartfelt condolences to his children, Marla, and Henry (Idil), brother, Stephen, his longtime partner, Josie and his extended family.

Dr. Tenby z”l was predeceased by his wife, Judy Tenby z”l.

The funeral took place on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at 12 noon at the Schara Tzedeck Cemetery in New Westminster (2345 Marine Dr, New Westminster, BC V3M 6R8).

Shiva will be observed Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday evenings at Congregation Schara Tzedeck (3476 Oak St Vancouver, BC) following evening services.

Mincha/Maariv service this coming week will be at 4:05 pm in the Chapel, with shiva visitation to follow.
