Sad News – Dr. Kayoomars Boroomand z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Beth Israel member Dr. Kayoomars Boroomand z’l. We send our sincere condolences to his beloved wife, Haideh, his daughter Golriz and son Siamak (Bonnee), brothers, Behrooz (Mina z”l), and Faramarz z”l and their families – grandchildren, Aaron and Kayla, nephews Shahin (Frieda), Shahrooz (Sharlot), and Brian (Bianca), and niece, Neda (Peyman). 

Condolences also to his sister-in-law, Parvaneh, nieces, Afsaneh and Sharareh (Joseph), great-nieces, Leila and Hanna and great-nephew, Jasper.

He is also missed by brothers-in-law Nasser (Eliane) and Habib z”l, and nephews Philip (Josiane), Robert, and Teddy (Lora), along with numerous other nieces and nephews. 

The funeral was held on Sunday July 11, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Beth Israel Cemetery (1721 Willingdon Ave, Burnaby, BC V5C 5J2). 

Shiva minyan will be held at Beth Israel at 6:00 pm daily following the funeral, until Thursday, July 15, 2021.
