Sad News – Daniel Kauffman z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Or Shalom member Daniel Kauffman (Danil ben Yisroel v’Rachel).

Dan died peacefully on Erev Shabbat surrounded by family in the Vancouver Hospice.

The funeral will be held today, Monday October 28, at 2:00 pm, at the Schara Tzedeck Cemetery (2345 Marine Drive, New Westminster).

Dan is mourned by his son, David Kauffman, daughter-in-law, Tilly Schalkwyk, and by his grandsons, Sol and Elia.

Shiva will be held from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Monday and Tuesday evenings at the home of David & Tilly (627 West 23rd Avenue, Vancouver).
