Sad News –  Carl Stanley Shapiro z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Carl Stanley Shapiro z”l, Kalman Shalom ben Yehuda Le’ib (v Channah) z”l. The father of Schara Tzedeck member Marcus Shapiro.

We send our condolences to his sister Barbara Kessel and his two sons, Marcus Shapiro (Pamela) and David Shapiro (Sharon); and 6 grandchildren: Rebecca in Berlin, Katie (Cameron) in Montreal, William in London, England and Henry in West Vancouver; and Louis and Hannah both of London, England. And his great-granddaughter, Selma Shapiro, in Montreal.

He was predeceased by his wife, Sandra Rochelle Shapiro z”l.

The funeral took place Sunday, January 21st in Agecroft Jewish Cemetery, Prestwich, Manchester.
