It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Abraham Lank, z’l

Avraham ben David father of Sharon Lank (Jon Oxley), Isaac (Terri) Lank, Sandra (David) DeZwirkek and Miriam, zl.  Abe’s beloved wife, Isabel, zl, and brothers predeceased him.

The funeral will be held at the Beth Tikvah Cemetery 14831 28th Ave. in White Rock Monday, April 20 at 2:30pm.

May Abe’s memory be for a blessing.

Abe was man of many diverse interests. He read poetry, like Ozymandias and The Cremation of Sam McGee. He edited university papers for friends and family. He recycled before it was a thing. He jumped out of airplanes and learned to swim, even though he was deathly afraid of heights, and not particularly fond of deep water.

He was loved and respected by those who knew him and greeted by name on his frequent walks. He was devoted to his wife, Isabel.

He also had a wicked sense of humour. For example … the blintzes… Jon?
