Sad News – Aaron Pomerantz z’l
We are saddened to announce the passing of Aaron Pomerantz who died peacefully at the Welland Ontario hospital with family by his side Saturday evening June 29, 2019.
Our condolences to his wife Joan (nee Young), daughter Leah (Mark Gurvis), sons Larry (Sharona Kaminker) and Jack and grand children Lyndsay, Annie, Lottie and Noa.
The funeral will be held late Monday July 1, 2019 at 4PM graveside at Congregation B’nai Israel Cemetery, 100 Bunting Road St Catharines, ON.
Following the burial, a gathering, meal and shiva minyan will take place at Congregation B’nai Israel at 190 Church Street in St. Catharines, ON.
Additional shiva visits at the home of Leah Pomerantz and Mark Gurvis in Brooklyn, NY
Wednesday, July 3 – visitation 3:00 – 9:30 pm; Minyan at 7:00 pm
Thursday, July 4 – visitation 10:00 am – 1:00 pm and 5:00 – 9:30 pm; Minyan at 7:00 pm
Friday, July 5 – Minyan at 8:30 am
