Help Israel’s Brightest Students Thrive, Despite COVID-19
Dear Friends, The coronavirus crisis has hit the Tel Aviv University student body hard. With increasing spikes in COVID-19 infections and the Israeli economy in dire crisis, thousands of students have lost the jobs that kept them financially afloat. Without income to cover their rent, tuition and living expenses, too many students are at risk of dropping out of their studies altogether.

More than 2,200 TAU students received emergency aid in the spring of 2020. Thanks to you, we were able to respond in a timely manner and help them save their semester. Another 1,400 students have applied for aid for the 2020-2021 year, many of whom will not be able to complete the year without immediate financial help.

Our Annual Scholarship Campaign is focused on raising funds for TAU’s COVID-19 Emergency Scholarship Fund, which distributes emergency aid of up to $4,000 directly to each of our neediest students. Your generosity not only ensures that students are able to complete the academic year, but it will keep them firmly on a life trajectory of academic and professional success.

A special message from TAU Vice President Amos Elad

Support our Annual Scholarship Campaign today and make a difference for our students at TAU. Their future depends on you. Wishing you a safe and healthy holiday season.
