Burquest JCA (Congregation Sha'arei Mizrah ) (Reform)

Burquest is a non-profit organization dedicated to the cultural, religious, social, and education needs of the Jewish population in the Tri-Cities and Fraser Valley Areas in British Columbia, Canada. We are non-denominational.

We have built a community based on inclusiveness. Everyone is welcome, regardless of age, marital status, sexual orientation, a Jew by birth or by choice, or within multi-faith marriages.

Our family friendly ritual services use English/Hebrew prayer books and are musically enhanced and led by our religious leader, Cantor Steve Levin.

We offer a variety of religious and cultural programs aimed to keep our Jewish heritage alive and strong.  A few examples include:
