Peer Support Services
A MEANINGFUL VOLUNTEER OPORTUNITY
JSA Peer Support Services is now accepting applications for our Senior Peer Counselling Program.
This volunteer training will prepare you with the skills to interact with seniors in our community, equip you with great communication skills, great problem management techniques, self-awareness,
self-responsibility and ethics in counselling.
Training will consist of eleven consecutive sessions for a total of 55 hours. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate from Senior Peer Counselling of B.C.
You will become a part of our volunteer team helping seniors in our community who are experiencing age related challenges, grief and loss, isolation and loneliness. We are an inclusive organization and reach out to all seniors
