It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Temple Sholom member Jack Lutsky z”l, today, December 24, 2025.

 

We send our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Susan Mendelson, his son, Soleil Lutsky (Taylor) his daughter, Mira Lutsky Buchan (Michael), his grandchildren, Rayden and Josie, and to his entire family and friends.

 

The funeral will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025 at 10:30 am at Temple Sholom Synagogue (7190 Oak St, Vancouver), followed by interment at the Temple Sholom Cemetery (14965 – 28th Ave., White Rock/South Surrey, BC).

 

The family will return to their home following the interment for a private meal of condolence and shiva service.

 

Mourners are invited for shiva minyanim on Saturday, December 27 and Sunday, December 28 at 7:00 pm in Vancouver, BC.

 

Donations in Jack’s memory are suggested to the Temple Sholom Capital Campaign.
