It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Dr. Peter Massel z”l (Pinchas ben Naphtali Hertzl) in Johannesburg, South Africa on Nov 23, 2025.

 

His funeral will take place on Nov 24.

 

We wish comfort to his brother, Schara Tzedeck member Rodney (and Lynne) Massel.

 

Peter is survived and mourned by his partner, Melanie, his children Andrea, Lisa and Gregory (and Chris), his grandsons Joseph and Benjamin, and his nieces, nephew, grandniece and grandnephews

 

Peter was a highly respected, gentle and very kind person. He will be missed by all who knew him.
