It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Katharine Fennemore Israel z”l, mother of Beth Israel member, Marie Fennemore.

 

Our heartfelt condolences to her children Marie Fennemore and Lincoln Israel, her granddaughters Maia, Georgia, Holly, and Harriet, her son-in-law Elie Grouchko and her daughter-in-law Kirsten Butt.

 

The funeral was held on Wednesday January 8th at 11 am at the Whakaroa Jewish Cemetery in Taupo, New Zealand.

 

If you would like to support Marie as she says kaddish for her mother, the family will attend the evening service on Sunday and Monday evenings, January 12th and 13th, at Congregation Beth Israel, at 6pm.

 

May her memory be for a blessing.
