It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the death of Temple Sholom member Sylvie “Nini” Rostoker-Shipman z”l, on Monday November 18, 2024.

 

Nini was predeceased by her husband Eric Shipman z”l.

 

We send our heartfelt condolences to her children, Talia Shipman-Englander (Adam Englander) and Noah Shipman (Chelsea Hermanson); grandchildren, Sadie Shipman and Element Englander; siblings, Disco Mickey Rostoker and Gerard Rostoker, her nieces and nephews, and the entire family.

 

The funeral will be held on Thursday, November 21 at 1:00 pm at the Temple Sholom Cemetery (14965-28th Ave., White Rock/South Surrey, BC).

 

Shiva observance and memory sharing will be held on Thursday, November 21 at 6:00 pm at Temple Sholom (7190 Oak Street, Vancouver, BC).

 

The family suggests that donations be made to Temple Sholom’s Refugee Resettlement Fund.
