It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Sheila Herman z”l, mother of Temple Sholom member, Ava Herman.

 

We send our heartfelt condolences to her children, Ava and Steve Herman, her daughter-in-law, Evelyn Neaman; her  grandchildren, Jason Margolus, Lea Herman, and Kira Herman; her oldest sister, Laila Dubinsky; and all her nieces and nephews and friends.

 

The funeral took place on Monday, August 17 at 11:00 am at the Schara Tzedeck Cemetery in Surrey (16656-60 Avenue, Surrey, BC).

 

Shiva will be held on Monday, August 17 at 7:30 pm at the home of Sheila Herman (3056 West 24th Avenue), and on Tuesday, August 18 at 7:30 pm at the home of Steve Herman and Evelyn Neaman in Vancouver.

 

Donations in memory and honour of Sheila Herman can be made to the Savary Island Trust (Fire Department) and Magen David Adom in Israel.
