Sad News – Rose Godfrey z’l
It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Rose Godfrey z”l, mother of Temple Sholom member Sima Godfrey, on Wednesday September 28, 2022 in Toronto.
Rose was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Godfrey z”l, mother and mother-in-law of Sima, Norman and Debbie, and Myer and Rena, sister and sister-in-law of the late Fay and Jack Rotberg z”l, the late Moishe Singer z”l, and Yehudah Singer, grandmother of Benjamin, Lulu, David and Andrea, Laura and Brian, Deena and Liza, Shauna, and Sam, and great-grandmother of Ayden, Joseph, Rory, Jack, and Lyla.
We send our heartfelt condolences to the entire family.
The funeral service will be held at Temple Emanu-El in Toronto on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 11:00 am ET. Interment to follow in the Temple Emanu-El section of Pardes Shalom Cemetery.
Shiva will take place in Toronto.
