It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Renee Lieber z”l, sister of Schara Tzedeck member Marlene Franken, on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in Washington, DC.

 

We send our sincere condolences to her husband, Steve Lieber, siblings, Marlene Franken (Leo) and Alvin Sholzberg, children, Kathryn Lieber and Andrew Lieber (Katie), grandchildren, Jack and Nora, her many nephews and nieces, and to her entire family and friends.

 

The funeral took place in Washington, DC.
