With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Rabbi Arik’s father, Rabbi Phillip Labowitz, Harav Shragah Feivel Avraham ben Yosef v’Chaika z”l.

 

Rabbi Phil passed away peacefully this morning in Florida, surrounded by family. His warmth, generosity, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

 

The funeral will take place on Tuesday morning in Boca Raton, Florida.

 

A shiva gathering will be held at Rabbi Arik and Aliza’s home in Vancouver on Thursday, May 21, at 9:30 am.

 

We hold the Labowitz family in our hearts during this time. May they feel surrounded by love and care, and comforted among all those who mourn.
