Sad News – Rabbi Eli Baitelman z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Rabbi Eli Baitelman z”l, the younger brother of Rabbi Yechiel Baitelman (Rabbi Yechiel Baitelman is the Rabbi of the Chabad of Richmond, BC.

We send our heartfelt condolences to Rabbi Yechiel Baitelman and to Rabbi Eli Baitleman’s wife, Elka, and to Rabbi Eli Baitelman’s seven children Avi, Henna, Sholom, Miriam, Rosie, Chana and Matti. As well we wish comfort to the other Baitelman siblings, Rabbi Yossi Baitelman, Rabbi Yochonon Baitelman, Zisi Cunin, Rabbi Ari Baitelman, Rabbi Yanky Baitelman and Rabbi Sruly Baitelman

The funeral took place on Sunday, May 7.

Rabbi Yechiel Batelman will be observing Shiva with his family in the New York area.

We hope to have details on a Zoom shiva later in the week.
