Sad News – Mary Lynn Schlifer z’l

With sorrow, I am writing to inform you that yesterday, December 23rd, we lost community member Mary Lynn Schlifer, Ora bat Avraham Avinu v’Sarah Imeinu, to a difficult cancer. May her memory be for a blessing – Tehe zichra baruch.

Mary Lynn’s children are Rui Rosario, Julianna Rosario and Marriki Schlifer.
She is survived by her brother George Voischos and his wife Charlene, their daughter Natasha Hein, her husband Derek, and their children Ethan and Alyssa, and their son Nick Voischos, his wife Ana, and their daughters Francesca and Giavonna. And she is survived by her sister Ena Gabara, her husband Tom, their son George and his wife Yvonne, and their daughter Sophie Sky. Mary Lynn is predeceased by her sister Helen Barnes, whose daughter is Toni Barnes.

The funeral was held in the chapel at Schara Tzedeck Cemetery in Surrey, on Monday, December 27th, 2PM. The cemetery is located at 16656 60th Avenue, in Surrey.
