It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lucy Laufer z”l, mother of Temple Sholom member Ron Laufer, on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

 

We send our heartfelt condolences to her children, Danny Laufer (Monica Muller) and Ron Laufer (Tamar Kafka), grandchildren, Jacob, Ari, Jonas, Sacha, and Amira, and to her entire family and friends.

 

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Schara Tzedeck Cemetery in New Westminster (2345 Marine Dr, New Westminster, BC V3M 6R8).

 

Shiva will be held at Ron & Tamar’s home from Saturday to Monday, August 2-4, at 7:30 pm.

 

The family suggests that donations be made to Camp Miriam or Nature Israel (formerly the Canadian Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel).
