It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Leslie Abelson z”l, beloved brother of Temple Sholom member Gillian Lagnado, in Israel on 17 Adar 5785.

 

We send our heartfelt condolences to his wife Ruhama; children, Ziv (Inbar) Abelson, Aviv (Maia) Abelson, Nitzan (Lisa) Abelson and Gal (Adrian) Abelson; grandchildren, Nadav, Maya, Noga, Romi, Ella, Ray, Bear and Ruby Abelson; sisters, Gillian (Albert) Lagnado, Maureen (Frank) Zetler; nieces and nephews, David, Caryn, Rosa, Ella and Asher; great-nieces, Ariah and Eden, and great–nephew, Grant.

 

The funeral will take place on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 in Kochav Yair, Israel. Shiva will be held at the Abelsons, in Kochav Yair, Israel.
