Sad News – Hadassah Cohen Gordis z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Hadassah Cohen Gordis z”l, mother of Or Shalom member Yoni Gordis (Robbie Chesick), on December 8 ,2022, in Jerusalem.

Hadassah is mourned by her sons Danny, Eli and Yoni, her children-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Hadassah was buried near Bet Shemesh, Israel on December 8, 2022.

Shiva services will be held at the home of Yoni and Robbie in Vancouver, on Wednesday December 14 at 8:00 am PST, and at 7:00 pm PST. The family will receive condolence calls at home on Wednesday, taking a break for rest and privacy between 1-4 pm. On Thursday December 15 at 8:00 am, the community is invited to raise Yoni from his shiva and walk him around the block.
