It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Gary (Cesy) Dayan (Ezra ben Abdu z”l), past member of Beth Hamidrash synagogue on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 in Israel.

 

We offer our heartfelt condolences to his wife Ruti, his children Michael, Jack, Shoshana, Daniel, and Yoni, his sister Claudette, and his entire extended family both home and abroad.

 

Gary and his family were pioneering members of Beth Hamidrash. He assisted in establishing the Congregation in its current location on Heather Street, and served many terms on the Board both as a director at large, and as the President. Gary and his family made aliya to Israel several years ago.

 

The funeral will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024 in Israel. The family will sit Shiva in Israel.
