It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Temple Sholom member Bernard Dov Rozen z”l.

 

Bernard was predeceased by his wife, Vera Rozen Winkler z”l, his sister, Esther Brandt z”l, and his stepson, Peter Winkler z”l.

 

We send our heartfelt condolences to his children and stepchildren, Ron Rozen (Lucie Levy-Spack), Drory Rozen (Raquel Horowitz), Tom Winkler (Caren Perel) and Philip Winkler (Liane Winkler); siblings, Mariette Doduck and Jack Rozen; grandchildren, Michael Rozen, Daniel Rozen (Joanne), Carine Rozen (Daniel), Noahm Rozen, Maaor Rozen, Jordan Winkler, Alexandra Perel-Winkler (Micah Burns), Oliver Perel-Winkler, Tarryn Winkler, Devon Winkler, Isaac Henry, and Elliott Henry; great-grandchildren, Yitzchak, Elisheva, Aryeh, Zoe, Yosef Chaim, Leto, Clea, and Beckette; and to his entire family and friends.

 

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 11:00 am at Schara Tzedeck Cemetery in New Westminster, BC (2345 Marine Dr, V3M 2V1).

 

Shiva services will be held on Wednesday, August 5, Thursday, August 6, Sunday, August 9 and Monday, August 10 at 7:00 pm at Bernard’s home in Vancouver.
