Shalhevet Girls High School

Until 2007, local families who wanted a strong, Torah-true education for their daughters had two options: send them out of town for high school or move away. In 2007, four local families decided to change that, and they established Shalhevet Girls High School. Shalhevet began with a full dual curriculum and a full staff, taking up two classrooms in the local Schara Tzedeck Synagogue. In 2010, Shalhevet purchased its current building on W 16th Ave. From its four founding students, Shalhevet has certainly come a long way!

Shalhevet is committed to academic excellence in Judaic and General Studies and to the development of the whole student, academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. Our small teacher:student ratio enables us to individualize the content we teach, and we emphasize and build real, lasting relationships.
